EXHIBITION: WATER AND LIFE IN FALKÖPING

And we have opened an Exhibition in this period! To claim the importance of water for life and health!
Falbygdens Museum 20 March- 25 April
The Exhibition concists of works from members of Täcklebo Embroidery academy.(the picture)

and embroideries by Indian girls and women from Mahila Embroidery Club, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan

And my own works from Water in desert project.
Three days we used for arranging and opening the exhibition and we also had a "secret" opening with a lecture for interested members of the art association.All was successful but a bit of a happening according to the technical equipment in the museum, but with a little help from a dear friend from the staff it worked!
After this I´m quite finished for at least three days!

I´M TRAINING

Now I´m aproaching the big piece again.To be able to decide how I will continue on the big yellow open fields I´m making small trainingpieces to know how this will be done.
Ah,Ah,Ah,,,,It´s such a painful and slow job! Why do I insist in doing this?. Well, today will be the day, when I will make the printing/ painting that will be the ground to work on.Let´s see in the next blog!

FLOD, HEAT&CAMELS

Today I´m curious about how this will be developed!, The icy snow on the top must be less distinct in form.There must be more rushing water, especially in front of the white camel and the dam at the bottom should be marked. Now the day begins!

Wonderful sunny day for a walk, But first a glance in my garden..Who have been there?

My home is on the hill far away

With white caps...

"Straight forward"- thought the hare...

quick,quick,quick, ran the mouse ...

Tree between light and darkness

stars have fallen down

Complete beauty

 

From cold to heat, A new embroidery starts, small one after the bigger that is now resting for a while, as I don´t know how to continue. It´s so good to start something new. this will be about flood, heat and camels. Perhaps? Let´s see.Tomorrow is another day...
